New Showreel!

***EDIT: The reel is now public for all to see!

My apologies, I had to make the reel private because there were shots that couldn't go public yet. Please contact me to view it!

Vimeo: Youtube: It looks like the blog space is very tight and cuts the videos, so please check them out in high-res: Here are direct links:

What ever happened to Serafine?

I never got round to finish her rig, but this is the final model I ended up with:
And there she waits...

It's time to revamp this blog!

Lo! I've been busy with work and family, you know how that goes. But now I've set a new goal for myself - to start drawing again and improve my very very rusty skills.
I know it could use more work and adjustments... but I decided to embrace imperfection and let it be. It actually was inspired by a stain on my floor:
-Now I have a good excuse for not cleaning!

New Showreel

Talia Tsur character animation reel June 2011 from Talia Tsur on Vimeo.

This is a temp showreel I put together quickly, only changing some parts from the old one.

I need to get some of my recent shots approved for viewing and then I'll make a new one.

I did all the animation in all the shots.

New little animation

I got together with Lizzy and Guy to create another animation for Eatliz.

It had very little time - did it in about 35 hours - I wish I had more time to give it a proper polish.
But anyway, here it is:

I see that it's not embedding very well, so you can watch it on youtube here.

Let's rig this kitty!

Yo!
I got some notes from the cool guys at Argaman Creative, unfortunately decided to implement only some of them, because I really want to move on to rig and animation with this.

So this model doesn't look exactly like the reference, and it's not very clean either, but it'll do.
Hopefully animation will bring it to life and no one will care :)
I still want to get notes as some things are easy to fix and I'll probably have to make changes anyway during the rig process, so if you have any, please do not be quite.
